From Passion to Profession: My Journey.
My journey began as an accidental but curious observer of politics, eagerly devouring political moves, understanding political discourses, and engaging in animated discussions with bureaucrats and politicians. I realised that I had a knack for understanding the pulse of the electorate, identifying key issues, and articulating compelling arguments. This realisation sparked a desire to turn my passion into a profession, and finally, I jumped.

Politics has always been a fascinating world to me – a realm where ideas, ideologies, and strategies converge to shape the future of communities and states. I came into this field by accident, but when I started working, I got sucked into the intricacies of political campaigns, the art of persuasion, and the power of well-crafted messages. Little did I know that this accidental fascination would eventually lead me to embark on a rewarding career as a political consultant.
To build a strong foundation for my accidental career, I immersed myself in studying the intricacies of human psychology, political and administrative systems, campaign strategies, and voter behaviour. My vast experience working on several customer-facing brands helped me create my unique path in political consulting.
Armed with knowledge and experience, I took the leap of faith into the world of political and government consulting space in 2001. I started by working with various government departments and ministries and assisting political leaders in developing their messaging, crafting campaign plans, and engaging with constituents. The fast-paced and dynamic nature of campaigns tested my skills and resilience, but each challenge brought valuable lessons and opportunities for growth.
As I gained more experience, I sought to broaden my skill set and stay ahead of the evolving political landscape. I delved into the world of digital campaigning, harnessing the power of social media and data analytics to target and engage voters effectively. I was among the first few from India to get a diploma in Digital Marketing from IDM, UK. I also focused on building solid relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and adapting my strategies to help them succeed.
The path of a political consultant is rarely smooth, and I encountered my fair share of challenges and controversies along the way. From navigating complex political dynamics to managing crises, I learned the importance of adaptability, quick thinking, and maintaining ethical standards. Each challenge presented an opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my journey as a political consultant has been the opportunity to positively impact communities and society as a whole. I found immense satisfaction in knowing that my work contributed to shaping a better future.
Throughout my journey, I have learned countless valuable lessons. I have discovered the importance of active listening, the power of collaboration, and the need for continuous learning in an ever-changing political landscape. As I look ahead, I am excited to take on new challenges, work with passionate individuals, and continue making a difference through my work as a political consultant.
